The butter is lightly browned to add a savory flavor to the cake. Since this cake is made without whisking the eggs, it is best to mix the eggs and sugar until they are well blended. For the tea leaves, Darjeeling was used in the video. ▷Ingredients (15cm) 70 g unsalted butter 2 whole eggs 50 g cane sugar Pinch of salt 3 g tea leaves 30 g hot water 50 g cake flour or rice flour 50 g ground almonds 1 teaspoon baking powder 300g apples 20 g powdered sugar 3 g lemon juice ▷How to make: 1. Peel and cut the apples into cubes. Pour hot water over the tea leaves to infuse them. 2. Put the butter in a saucepan and stir to brown the butter. Let the whole pan cool. 3. Beat the whole eggs with the brown sugar and salt. Add tea leaves, cake flour, almond flour, ground almonds, baking powder, and apple. 5. Line a mold with a cooking sheet, pour in the batter, and bake in a preheated oven at 170℃ for 35 to 40 minutes. 6. Remove from the molds immediately after baking. Make icing by mixing powdered sugar with lemon juice and pour over the cake.
