Hey Loves, and welcome to day eight of the 12 days of Christmas, Yoga playlist. Each day we will be working towards a specific peak pose. Looking at ways to progress upwards to the more challenging aspects of the pose itself. We will look at the target areas, special building block postures and exercises to help you build muscle memory and most importantly, ways in which you can modify each pose to suit you. For the eighth video, we are breaking down different ways to approach Astavakrasana / 8 Limb pose / Pose dedicated to the Sage Astavakra. This pose is a tricky arm balance, that helps build great upper body and core strength. Just a heads up there is no music imbedded on these videos, so have your favourite playlist at the ready if you prefer to flow along to some tunes. Remember you are all your own teachers! What I say is not gospel, it is what I have found to work best for me over the years. So please be humble to your bodies and what feels great to you. Our practice should serve us for a long time, not a quick fix.
