Welcome to the Weekly Yoga Drop and welcome to arm balances! Arm balances are a great way for roller skaters to bring some upper body strengthening to their off-skates practices. In this posture focus practice for bakasana or crow pose, we begin on our back to activate the hip flexors and find the shape of this arm balance. From there we walk through how to use the block to start and/or assist your crow pose so that you can progress your arm balance as you strengthen your hip flexors, core, back and shoulders. Body Focus: Hip flexors, core, back, shoulders Length: 10 minutes Difficulty: Moderate - Challenging Intensity: Medium Props: yoga blocks 🛼 Welcome to Yoga for Skaters!
