On September 27, 2025, the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum would run their Summerville Steam Special down to Summerville, GA and back to Grand Junction. This particular run however, would be a special one. TVRM decked out #4501 in a Central of Georgia disguise back over Founders Day Weekend, but decided to keep it that way to run it down over the former Central of Georgia mainline for one trip as Central of Georgia "MacArthur" #699. Being there are a few Central of Georgia relics that still stand along the line, this made the run quite memorable and a must-see. What made it even better was the whistle that #4501 wore for the day's run. A Central of Georgia step-top 5-chime would be mounted up top. And let me tell you, that thing was LOUD, but in the best way possible. It's easily one of my favorite whistles that I've heard on a steam locomotive yet. I would chase the train from Grand Junction to Summerville and back making stops at many iconic spots along the line. Overall, this was an awesome day and I won't soon forget it! I hope y'all enjoy!
