In fact, slow runners are the backbone of the running community. In this video I talk about why slow runners are actually the future of running, why so many new runners feel intimidated when starting their running journey, and why running communities and run clubs are growing so quickly around the world. Through Cam’s Run Club I meet beginners, first-time runners and people returning to running every week. Many of them start with the same fear: “I’m too slow.” But what they quickly realise is that running isn’t about pace — it’s about consistency, community and enjoying the journey.
