Hi Guys! Decided to share my progress from Day 1 to Day 31 ( July 1 2019 to July 31 2019 ) as I wanted it to be more detailed. The whole “challenge” is 12 weeks or 84 days and this is just to jumpstart our healthy habits! Will Do Day 30-60, Day 60-84 or Day 30- 84 hehe will see! I don’t believe in doing something for just a short amount of time then stopping because that isn’t healthy! SLOW AND STEADY, HEALTHY AND SUSTAINABLE is my motto. Honestly what I learned from this specific journey is I should not be pressured and to do this for myself and not for others :) Our weight should not define our happiness ( but I am still struggling with self love ) but we should definitely live a healthy lifestyle to take care of our body and our minds. I worked out 5-6 times a week and ate pretty clean with a few binges here and there. Staples of my diet were: Oatmeal, Banana, Chicken, Salmon, Tuna, Sweet Potato, Spinach, Broccoli, Eggs. I Tried incorporating yoga, pilates and steady state cardio and that did help me lose weight but I lost muscle as well so for the upcoming months I am focusing on increasing my protein intake - joining crossfit again and hypertrophy training 2x a week!
