Juicy, chewy, and soft without any foul odors. Just by boiling for an hour, you can enjoy suyuk in the comfort of your home. I recommend beef shank suyuk stew when the cold wind starts to blow. Ingredients Ingredients for beef shank suyuk stew 1kg of beef shank 1 bundle of chives, 1/4 of Korean cabbage, 5 enoki mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms, 된장 1tbsp of soybean paste, 3 spring onions, 1 onion, 1tbsp of oyster sacue, 1tbsp of soy sauce, 3 bay leaves, a little bit of whole pepper, 10 garlic cloves, a little bit of ginger, 1tbsp of cooking wine Ingredients for suyuk sauce 3 garlic cloves, a little bit of green onions 2 cheongyang peppers, 1tbsp of vinegar, 3tbsp of soy sauce, 1tbsp of sugar, 1T of mustard, 3tbsp of water Recipe 1. Drain out the blood Put the meat in cold water for about 2~3hours. Change the water time to time. 2. Cooking the surface(searing) Put the meat on top of a hot pan and cook until the surface turns brown. 3. Boiling the suyuk Add water until the meat is adequately submerged. Add spring onion/onion/garlic/ginger/whole pepper/bay leaves/soybean paste/and oyster sauce. Boil it and reduce the heat to the lowest. Add the meat. Boil for about an hour over low heat. Please keep the lid on. 4. Resting Turn of the heat and rest it in the pot for about 10 minutes. Take it out and let it cool. Slice the cooled down meat. 5. Making the stew Layer the cabbage and the mushrooms on the bottom of the pot and place suyuk pieces on top of it. Make it nice and presentable.
