This is Day One. In this video, I’m beginning a year-long journey of rebuilding my life in public, starting with my mind, my body, and the systems that support real change. This is going to be a real, raw look at how I’m setting myself up for transformation, using structure instead of shame as I aspire to earn a bachelors degree from WGU as a midlife student, undergo a body transformation, and document how I balance it- all while navigating some very arresting mental health challenges. In this video, I share my starting stats and a first look at my body at this moment in time. I discuss my weight loss goals for 2026, and the realistic plan I’m using to lose 70 pounds while managing CPTSD, ADHD and binge-eating disorder. This includes alternate day fasting, a simple protein and fiber-focused eating structure, daily walking, weight training, and a visual calendar system designed to work with how my brain actually functions. This video is for anyone who feels like motivation alone hasn’t worked, who struggles with consistency, emotional eating, or starting over again and again. It’s about building discipline through self-knowledge, creating routines that are sustainable, and choosing progress over perfection.
