The small amount of oil used in this recipe means the onions might stick to the pan at some point; if necessary, deglaze with a splash of water. Add the ginger, garlic and green chili and continue to fry until cooked and any liquid has evaporated. Transfer the mixture to a plate, spread out and allow cooling. Put the minced beef in a mixing bowl, add the onion mixture and all of the remaining ingredients, and mix well. Shape into two patties. Heat a pan, brush the burgers with a little oil and cook: 4 minutes each side, serve the patties in toasted buns, with some ketchup, chili pickle and mayo. Ginger Dipping Sauce: Ingredients: Soy sauce 4 tbsp Water 1 tbsp Rice vinegar 3 tsp Honey 1 tsp Toasted sesame seeds 1 tsp Red pepper flakes 1 pinch Ginger minced 2tsp Oil 1tsp Mix all the ingredients and serve. Double Chocolate Cake : Ingredients: Sugar 2 cups Flour ` 1-3/4 cup Cocoa powder 3/4 cup Baking powder 1- 1/2 tsp Baking soda 1 -1/2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Eggs 2 Buttermilk 1 cup Butter, melted 1/2 cup Vanilla extracts 1 tbsp Hot black coffee 1 cup For Chocolate Buttercream Frosting: Butter 1 cup Cocoa powder 1 cup Caster Sugar 2-1/2 cups METHOD: Preheat oven: Grease two round baking pans and set aside. In a large bowl, stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add eggs, buttermilk, melted butter and vanilla extract; beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Stir in hot coffee. Pour batter evenly between the two pans and bake on middle rack of oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire racks before frosting. Chocolate Buttercream Frosting: Whip the room-temperature butter on medium speed. Shift to low and add cocoa powder slowly, spoon full at a time, until fully incorporated. Still on low, add in the powdered sugar one spoonful at a time, beat until very light and fluffy, and another 3-5 minutes. Layer the chilled cake with frosting and serve.
