Kampala is the largest city in Uganda. While the airport is located in nearby Entebbe, Kampala is the largest population center in the country. This slideshow is hardly a comprehensive view of the city. I myself wound up in at the Oasis Mall and I walked or took the taxi to the National Park Office to get the permits to see the chimpanzees and the mountain gorillas. There was a shuttle bus going between the Oasis Mall and the Red Chilli where I stayed. As you can see, the traffic in Kampala is not for the faint of heart. It is a veritable mess. The music in the background is Ugandan and seems to have some "electronica" elements with a driving beat.
