This video is put together for people who may feel stagnated, constantly a bit swollen around the abdomen and/or constipated. These kind of movements can also help free up menstrual pain. 0:00 Intro 4:00 Exercises These movements have really helped me over the years to improve the health of my abdomen massively. I always used to feel a bit blocked and swollen around the centre, and it made me feel tired, sluggish, brain foggy and a bit nauseous at times. As the waste of the body wasn’t moving out as soon as it should have for proper functioning. I just do these for a few minutes when needed to help things shift, and it makes me feel freer, lighter and less bloated. Of course there are other things to take into consideration too, but movements like these can be a very useful tool along the way. I think there are many puzzle pieces that needs to be found and fitted together for good abdominal health, not just diet. I think we often look to diet as being the main solver of abdominal problems, although it can be, if the intestines aren’t able to move as they should, it doesn’t matter much what diet you are on (within reason). It will all get blocked up in the gut anyway. If the movement of food and stool is slowed down in the intestines, this gives rise to gas which leads to more discomfort and sometimes pain. I go into a few causes of this in the video. To have a healthy abdomen you also need to have a good body posture, so there are no areas of contraction and stagnation in the body, inhibiting things to flow freely. We also need to look after the body and move it throughout the day, this also helps create movement through the abdomen and move things along. A third thing which is also important is our breathing - the breathing needs to be able to descend well though the diaphragm, when this happens the organs and intestines gets massaged and the blood flow, functioning and health in the area increases. I suggest to stretch regularly to open up the body evenly and to help things flow. Going for a short walk after meals shouldn't be underestimated either, as when we move the legs it pulls and moves gently around the lower part of the abdomen and intestines. Doing regular exercise to keep the things inside the body that needs to be able to flow and move to do so. And of course, if you are experiencing problems with your body, find a good physical therapist and a skilled acupuncturist to help you along the way of regaining normal functioning of the body. :) I will put out more information in the near future on this channel and my Facebook, on things I have found to be vitally important for me over the years in order to find my well-being, energy and to feel good. Hopefully it will help others who may be experiencing similar things. Please share if you know others it may benefit. :)
