Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon Pose) is a balancing pose in which you root down with your standing leg while lifting and extending your raised leg and opposite arm. It's a good idea to do some hip and chest openers before practicing Half Moon Pose. Make sure you warm-up properly. This is just one way to do the pose. Other teachers might teach it differently and it might look and feel different on your body. You can even see in the video the difference on my right and left side.
