One ePortfolio tool, multiple institutional uses showcases how PebblePad can support a wide range of learners, programmes, and professional practices across a single institution. In this session, Richard Dudley and Norhan Sheta from University College Birmingham share how PebblePad has been embedded across further education, undergraduate, postgraduate, apprenticeship, and staff development contexts. The talk highlights multiple real‑world examples, including professional cookery, sport therapy, primary education (PGCE), and staff CPD, demonstrating how a single ePortfolio platform can be adapted to meet diverse course requirements, accreditation needs, and learner journeys. The speakers explain how close collaboration between the digital learning team and academic staff ensures portfolios are purpose‑built, scalable, and aligned with course objectives. Practical insights include the use of long‑running portfolios across multiple years, mobile evidence capture, automated calculations, structured reflection, external assessor access, and Canvas integration. The session also explores how ePortfolios support continuity beyond graduation, enabling students to carry forward evidence of learning into their professional practice. The talk concludes by reflecting on the value of central support, consistent design principles, and growing institutional confidence as ePortfolio use expands across the university. This talk took place at the studio, Birmingham in June 2023.
