In this video, we're focusing on the most effective 3-step routine to relieve knee pain. We dive into the anatomy of the knee, highlighting the importance of balancing muscle use between the front and back of the leg. The first step is to loosen up the quad muscles, which often become tight and pull on the kneecap. Using a foam roller or massage gun, we target the quad muscles from various angles to release tension and improve mobility. Next, we address the back of the leg, focusing on the hamstrings and calf muscles. Using a lacrosse ball or a rolling pin, we loosen up these muscles to reduce stress on the knee joint. Finally, we demonstrate a hip hinge exercise to strengthen the hamstrings and glutes while maintaining proper knee alignment. By redistributing the load between the hips and knees, we alleviate stress on the knee joint and promote healing.
