In this video I show you what I eat in a day, simple meals that are high carb low fat following The Starch solution. The Starch solution was created by Dr. John Mcdougall and is a starch based diet focusing on whole food starches like potatoes, rice and beans and lots of non starchy veggies. RECIPE #1 LOW FAT BLUEBERRY CORN FLOUR PANCAKES 1/2 cup cup corn flour 1 cup oats 1 banana 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla powder or vanilla extract 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 to 1 cup water depending how thin you want your pancakes blueberries Instructions: Place all ingredient into a blender and blend till smooth. Add in blueberries and stir by hand pour onto a nonstick griddle and cook a few minutes on each side. RECIPE #2 BIG SALAD WITH THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING in a bowl add the following: Spring mix, shredded carrots, shredded zucchini, sliced mushrooms, chickpeas, red pepper chopped, shredded brussel sprouts, red onion chopped, shredded red cabbage, chopped cucumber, chopped tomato reheat a left over baked potato, chop and add to salad You can customize this salad to the veggies you like. INGREDIENTS: One onion chopped 2 leeks sliced and chopped (clean very well to remove any sand) 4 cloves minced garlic 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 T dried parsley red pepper flakes (optional) 2.5 pounds Yukon gold potatoes chopped, no need to peel 1 box veggie broth 1 cup water 1 tsp better than boullion veggie 1/2 cup soy milk INSTRUCTIONS: set instant pot to saute. Add water and saute onions, garlic and leeks for 5 minutes till soft. add spices except for parsley and red pepper flakes saute for 2 minutes. add the rest of the ingredients except soy milk, parsley and red pepper flakes. set Instant pot to manual pressure for 6 minutes, then quick release, add soy milk and stir.
