All the Squatting and Burpees will get your heart rate up. The key here is to avoid hitting redline. For Time 50 Wall Balls (20/14 lb, 10/9 ft) 50 Front Squats (75/55 lb) 50 Back Squats (75/55 lb) Perform 3 Burpees at the start and at the top of each minute Consider taking an interval approach: complete as much work as possible (at a steady pace) for 40 seconds, then allow 20 seconds of recovery before starting the Burpees at the top of the next minute. TIP: If your heart rate gets too high in the middle of the workout and you approach redline, rest (skip the Burpees and do no repetitions) in the next minute. Resume where you left off in the following minute, starting with 3 Burpees. SCALING OPTIONS Today’s weight should be light and something you can complete at least 20 reps of each movement (Wall Balls, Front and Back Squat) unbroken when fresh. If that’s not the case for you, choose a weight for each movement that you can do 20 reps unbroken when fresh. INSTRUCTIONS Start with 3 burpees. Then complete as many Wall Balls as possible until the minute is up. At the top of the minute (1:00) complete another 3 burpees. Repeat each minute until all 50 Wall Balls, 50 Front Squats and 50 Back Squats are completed. Score is the total time it takes to complete all 150 Reps.
