Hi guys! Welcome to the fifth workout in our Feb Pilates x Strength series! Today we will be using a light set of dumbbells because we're combining pilates inspired exercises with strength training for the ultimate full body burn!! We start off today with some fun standing combos that will work on strengthening the arms, with a focus on triceps, toning the legs and glutes, and engage the core muscles. We then move into a bridge series where we work on toning the legs, lifting the glutes whilst also working on the chest and shoulders with some fly exercises. I LOVE the abs series today, although it takes a lot of coordination! In our ab series we work the total core, so upper abs, lower abs and obliques. We then have a tabletop series where we work on strengthening the back muscles, toning the arms and shoulders, whilst bringing in some abdominal and oblique strengthening exercises!
