A thick gooey cookie packed with cookies, candy and chocolate chips. Easy to make and delicious! Recipe 1 cup very COLD butter, cut into small cubes is best 1 cup brown sugar ½ cup sugar 2 eggs 1 ½ cups cake flour *can just use all-purpose flour as well 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon cornstarch ¾ teaspoon baking soda ¾ teaspoon salt 1 & 1/2 cups chocolate chips 1 cup candy of your choice, reserve 1/2 cup for topping 1 & 1/2 cup oreo cookies, chopped, reserve 1/2 cup for topping In a large mixing bowl, cream together very cold cubed butter, brown sugar, and sugar just until crumbly. Add eggs and gently mix. In separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients together, flours, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients mixture to wet ingredients mixture, and stir just until combined and crumbly. Do not overmix. Stir in chocolate chips, candy and cookies. Refrigerate and chill dough for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Longer the better so they stay chunky and don't flatten out during baking. Pre-heat oven to 410 degrees. The dough makes about 8'ish large cookies. Or more for smaller cookies. For real extra large 5oz or 6oz cookies like I made, baking time will be 20 to 25 minutes. For smaller cookies, bake for 10-13 minutes or until golden brown but still soft in center. ❣️ Always test and bake one cookie first. After baking, let them rest on sheet for at least 15 minutes before transferring to a cookie rack, and let them COMPLETELY cool and set before enjoying.
