This sourdough bread has become my absolute favorite - soft and airy inside, perfectly crisp outside, and filled with the incredible flavor of olives. Every step feels rewarding, and the result is a loaf that tastes like it came straight from an artisan bakery. Once you try it, you’ll understand why I don’t buy bread anymore. Ingredients: Water - 1 cup (230 ml) Active sourdough starter - 50 g Bread flour - 2 ¾ cups (340 g) Salt - 1¼ tsp (7 g) Chopped olives - 3 tbsp (30 g) - Kalamata or Riviera olives are great for this! Tools I Used: Baking pan I used to bake this bread: https://amzn.to/3OZQQT3 (I used two of them, one turned upside down and used as cover) Alternative pan: https://amzn.to/49UyaOo - either two of these, one turned upside down and used as a cover, or one, but covered with aluminum foil for the first bake. https://amzn.to/4gnx6Fb - same as the previous pan. From the first stretch of the dough to the sound of the crust crackling fresh out of the oven, this bread is pure satisfaction. The olive aroma fills the kitchen, and each slice is so light and soft it almost melts with a touch of butter. Remember, the joy of cooking is in the process as much as in the final product.
