Sourdough Starter: 125g (3/4 cup) Flour 125g (1/2 cup) Filtered water Feeding Sourdough Starter: 50g (1/3 cup) Starter 100g (2/3 cup) Flour 100g (7 tbs) Filtered water -Mix the flour and water together in a clean glass jar and place a secure lid on top. -Allow the starter to sit for about 48 hours. -After 48 hours begin feeding the starter daily (twice a day if the starter is very active and is expanding to a significant volume than deflating). Feed the starter daily for about 2 weeks to establish a strong and healthy sourdough starter. -After two week you can begin to use the starter in recipes or store in the fridge for long term. -To "wake" the sourdough starter up after storage in the fridge feed the sourdough and allow the starter to become active and bubbly before using.
