Todays bodyweight workout was a burner!! Focusing to build strength and muscle endurance in our legs. Take each rep with as much control as possible and move through our greatest range of motion. Of course, you can always add weight to this workout as you see fit but you may be surprised as to how powerful bodyweight work can be. A booty band is used today but is not necessary if you don't have access to one. As long as you move with intention and focus on the muscles being worked, your body will feel it! This is a bodyweight workout so anyone can attempt this workout but anytime you can take it slower or omit some moves if they cause pain. If you ever feel pain, stop! Discomfort, shaking and possible swearing may occur but pain is a full stop! This workout is mostly unilateral. We start with dual sets working one side of the body at a time so watch the scree during the breaks to see what will be coming up in the set. Try your best to keep your torso solid and braced to assist you with stabilization. The format today varies from straight sets to dual sets to super sets of 5 exercises. If you need additional time to set up and ensure correct form, please take it! The timer is simply there to keep us on track.
