Well, side planks are one of the BEST ways to strengthen your core muscles, BUT they can be really, really hard at first, especially if your shoulders aren’t quite strong enough yet. Yes, I said shoulders 😉 That ONE bottom shoulder is carrying the load of your ENTIRE TORSO, so it’s no wonder if it feels like a struggle!! 😩 Use this 👆 trick of doing “kneeling side planks” reps to not just strengthen your hips and core (like they need!), but to also build up the strength of your shoulder. ✅ I recommend doing 5-6 lifts per side to start.
