🎄 Christmas Yoga Challenge for Back Pain & Body Tightness 🎄 Today we’re focusing on hamstring stretching — an area that’s often overlooked but deeply connected to back pain. Tight hamstrings can create tension in your lower back. If left unaddressed, that tightness can turn small aches into intense episodes of lower back pain. Why? Your hamstrings are connected to your pelvis and lower back through a network of muscles, tendons, nerves, and ligaments. When they’re tight, they constantly pull on your pelvis — forcing your lower back to work harder. This is why back pain or sciatica may not fully go away if you’re not addressing the root cause: 👉 tight hamstrings Another often-missed piece is weak core muscles. When your core isn’t doing its job, your body compensates by overusing the hamstrings — and they become tight and overworked.
